Four Eyes

Ray Ban Glasses, H&M Shirt + Jeans, J.Crew Sweater + Bangles, Jeffrey Campbell Flats.
I finally got my much needed glasses! I'm a little late on the trend, but I'm glad I did it. I have loved the "Boyfriend glasses" Look ever since I saw Diane Keaton do the swap with Jack Nicholson in Somethings Gotta Give. She looked so awkward in his glasses, but so cute and chic at the same time.  I have worn contacts since High school, but never got glasses, simply because I couldn't commit to a frame. Ridiculous.  So I finally acted like an adult and followed through with my appointments and made a commitment.  I am feeling incredibly awkward, but I'm kind of loving it.

Mixology

Forever 21 Sweater, H&M Scarf + Jeans, Jeffrey Campbell Flats, BCBG Maxazria Bag.
Mixing prints is quite daring, and a bit scary for most. I find that if you stay within the same color palette it's easier to mix your patterns.  If you are typically someone that plays it safe, start with mixing accessories {scarves, shoes, bags, belts, etc..}with a top. Mix plaid with leopard, or stripes with polka dots.  These days, fashion gives us so many fun options, so why not play around with it. I'll bet you get some good feed back, and perhaps inspire someone else!
