Destination: Paradise

Off to Cabo San Lucas for the week! My boyfriend's cousin is getting married, so it will be a celebration! I will attempt to keep you all updated, so continue to check in. What an amazing place to capture some beautiful photos!

How to: Knotted Updo {Seen on Gossip Girl}

1. Your first section is going to start from your "recesion area". The side sections start behind your ear and go diagonally back.
2. Twist and clip all three sections.
3. Take one of your side sections out. Back comb lightly, twist, and pin into a messy bun. Repeat on the opposite side.
4. Take out middle section. Back comb the top and with your boar bristle brush smooth the top into place. *Be sure to use lots of hairspray during this part to keep all loose hairs in tact.*
5. Repeat step 3 on your middle section.
Final Look!

Good Buy

 The other day at the salon, I noticed this amazing necklace on a girl in the waiting area. Since I have no shame, I went up to her and asked where she got it. This is not the first time I have done this to strangers, but now I have one of my very own! Turns out she worked at Bcbg Maxazria {where the necklace is from} AND it was on sale. Lesson learned: Don't be too proud to ask, you will regret it if you don't. Besides, [most] people are flattered by it!

It starts again, the drama and the fashion. After a month of being on break, the Upper Eastsiders are back in our lives. Every Monday, during the GG seasons I will give you a favorite fashion moment. It starts now.

Winter Kate by Nicole Richie

 Winter Kate Cardigan

These days so many celebrities have their own fashion lines and I always wonder how many of them actually wear the product. I have always loved Nicole Richie's style and over the past year I especially took liking to her silk cardigans. At first I thought they were vintage pieces, but I soon found out they were her own creations. If I had the $$ to create my own line, I would design items I love, so I could wear them! I'm pretty sure Nicole was thinking the same thing.

How to: Boho Chic Hair

1. Create loose waves with your curling iron. Do not curl the ends.

2. Back comb {tease}: Begin about two inches from forehead and go back to crown. Create a circular section of back combing.
 3. Completely smooth out the entire section and height.{be careful, this is not "the Snooki"}
4. Pull one side back and bobby pin to secure.
5. Pull back the other side and criss cross bobby pins. Be sure it feels secure.

How to: Ballerina Bun

 1. Start with a high ponytail, back comb {tease} the entire ponytail by taking small sections.

 2. With a boar bristle brush, gently smooth the entire back combed ponytail, just enough that the top surface is smooth.
3. Twist the ponytail and wrap into a bun shape. Keep the bun loose, so it keeps it's fullness.
4. Stick bobby pins all around your bun and use hairspray {where ever necessary}.
