Bang It Out

 Jack by BB Dakota Faux Fur Vest, H&M Top, Old Navy Pants, J.Crew Necklace, Vintage Bangle + Sunnies.
Hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween! We were a little lame this year and decided to stay in and have a bonfire instead. We had great company and fun, but after seeing everyones costumes on FB, I think we will be going out next year. On another note--I got bangs! I usually resort to bangs when I need a new look, with out cutting all my hair off. They are a fun look for Fall/Winter. Nicole Richie recently went back to bangs as well, which might have been my inspiration. :)

Inspiration: From Work to Home

{Find photos from an old coffee table book}

 When I find myself in a rut, I will typically flip through a pile of mags or obsess over Pinterest for days. I will wish that I was surrounded by such beautiful pieces and find myself envious. However, I recently realized that I am lucky enough to have inspiration right in front of me everyday. My work environment feels more like a second home to me, which is why I naturally want to translate parts of my work place into my own home.

The Last Hoorah

Kensie Blazer, Amanda Uprichard Tunic Dress, Boutique 9 Heels , Zara Bag, Vintage Necklace.
My Camera has good and bad days--This is obviously a bad day. However, there are two good reasons I didn't want to skip this post. 1. A beautiful (and very warm) October night out with the boyfriend (dinner/drinks outside on the restaurant's patio), which allowed me to wear some of my summer favorites one last time. 2. As I was getting ready I realized my selection was quite slim for "going out wear". So, I shuffled through my closet and was pretty proud of what I was able to pull together.  I suppose it's the last "hoorah" for Summer, but it was a good run.
