When shopping for a dress we all have a certain style we are most comfortable in.  Every now and then I feel bold and I'll try on a fitted body con dress, to quickly be reminded that it's SO not me.  I love a dress that is comfortable and allows me to move/dance around in! Not to mention, a dress I am comfortable eating an entire meal {and dessert} in. I also can't help but love the gold champagne color of this dress, that works with my un-tanned skin and blonde hair.

Shady Grey

 H&M Sweater, Urban Outfitters Maxi Skirt, Urban Outfitters Sunnies, DSW Gladiators, Miztique Bag, Jessica Matrasko Ring.

 Can you tell that I am loving the Maxi right now?  Yesterday was a chilly day with the temperature back in the low 60s.  I wore this light weight sweater and actually ended up throwing on my leather jacket on top of it. This skirt was marked down to $20 at Urban and is now a staple item in my closet. However, I don't look quite as tall wearing this Maxi, because the length is surprisingly perfect for me to wear flats.

It's a tricky thing for me these days to find dresses I love anywhere near these prices! I picked these five that I'd personally wear and add my own personal touch.

You Say Jump, I Say How High

A new fave! I did some sales rack shopping this weekend and I found some treasures.  This jumpsuit was marked down to $22 at Nordstrom! No tailoring needed, which is pretty much unheard of for me. The jumpsuit trend can be intimidating, but this one's a keeper. Ladies, there were plenty left in every size, so I suggest grabbing one for yourself.  It will also be a great transitional piece to wear into Fall.

Lazy Daze

Although I had a laundry list of things to do {including laundry}, my day off consisted of lounging on the deck and making multiple phone calls. When I have little motivation to get ready, I typically throw on something mindless like this Tshirt dress. I added a pair of great gladiators and a statement necklace to create a not so lazy look.

A New Direction

Anthropologie Maxi Dress, Arden B Belt {5yrs old}, JCrew Bracelets, Jessica Matrasko Ring.

 Ready for day one. I decided to wear a relaxed yet on trend maxi dress.  This way I am nice and comfy while I get accustomed to my new surroundings.  I was drawn to this maxi in particular because of it's great fit and the use of it's pattern. The way the stripes change direction is flattering on each curve of the body. Very important for us girls. I also love the look of a great belt with a maxi dress, it adds a little somethin extra.

Peachy Keen

 One of my favorite color combinations this summer is Navy and Peach. I found the dress and belt on the sales rack at Anthropologie. I definitely couldn't pass them up. Originally, this was going to be my "first day of work" outfit.  Unfortunately, yesterday was one of those mornings where nothing looked right and numerous clothing items ended up on the floor. So I caved and went with the one outfit I was saving. Oops,I guess I'll be shopping again.

Living Easy

On hot Summer days (our high is 100 degrees today) all I want to do is throw something on that is easy and light. Usually a dress or tunic, but this Summer I am loving the simplicity of rompers.  So easy, yet so chic, and this one was ridiculously cheap at $15. If you have the patience to dig through the racks at Forever 21, you can usually walk away with a couple great steals.
