Hairstylists love a good party. But what we love even more is the production of getting ready for one! For the past couple weeks my coworkers and I have been prepping for a private party held at our salon. We are excited to showcase some of the seasons hairstyles and fashion trends. Each artist will have their own on trend look that compliments their personal style. Of course I'm suuuper excited to rock this Bardot hair!

I tend to wear alot of basics and I love mixing them with fun accessories. A white T is possibly the most repeated item in my wardrobe and in my dresser you will find a dozen of them. J.Crew and H&M are my two favorite stores to find the perfect white T's {and tanks}. A crisp white cotton is easy and mindless to throw on with some cutoffs, but I especially love to pair it with a nice black skirt. Simply-comfy chic.

Despite the rain, it was a great weekend for a wedding! I rented this dress from Rent the Runway and I seriously wish I could have kept it. It honestly wasn't my first choice, but Peter helped me out and said it was his favorite. The dress was {surprisingly} more beautiful in person than it appeared online. Then I was struggling with jewelry and my girlfriend recommended I go with turquoise. When she said it, it seemed so obvious, but I just hadn't thought of it! So...thanks to the boyfriend and fashionable friends, I pulled together one of my favorite outfits yet. Unfortunately, I only truly own the amazing shoes, ring, and bag....OH, and my fab umbrella {from Target}!

Mid-Summer Nights

When one piece is fitted the other piece is loose. This is typically my motto when putting together outfits.  So, it's only natural for me to wear a loose blouse with my fitted mini.  I have seen so many girls wearing these body con mini skirts and I love to see how we all wear them so differently. It's definitely a fun and bold staple item to have this Summer! How do you wear your mini?

They are Boutique9, 5 inch heels, and I love them.  I will be debuting them next weekend at our friend's wedding with a lavender dress {I finally found the perfect lavender} I am renting from renttherunway.com.  I will be sure to post pics of the whole ensemble.
